Startproject Cross-Border Family Stories

The two cultural initiatives W+Ort in Lustenau and Theater am Saumarkt in Feldkirch are in close proximity to the Swiss border. In cooperation with the literatur:vorarlberg network, the initiatives will start a joint research project that will result in a literary work.

One school class from Lustenau and one from Widnau/Au, as well as one class from Feldkirch and one from Schaanwald will retrace the stories of their families on their respective side of the border. How did and do the families live? What do we know about each other, what relations are there and are there any big differences between us?

based on a participatory and communicative concept of cultural education a space is created where young people from both sides of the border can come together and exchange their ideas.
