Sound Without Borders
Live! Förderverein für Livemusikkultur invites musicians from Vorarlberg to make music with street musicians from all over Europe. They all play side by side, jamming scattered throughout on Hohenems‘ Schlossplatz square. Street music reaches people directly as they go about their day in the city. This allows for spontaneous encounters with new genres and ideas that can create a long-lasting echo.
As a core element of live music culture, SoundOhneGrenzen wants to support the street music scene. This means not only crossing territorial borders, but also building bridges between music genres and creating international networks. A long red rope on the Schlossplatz playfully boosts the project’s recognition, but more importantly, it illustrates how we can overcome borders and embrace new Connections.
